STORE MANAGER:

Log into your store manager

Select "Program Settings" from the list of links at the top of the store manager screen.

Next, press the "Main Settings" button

On the following screen, select PayFlow Link (Payflow) from the drop down list of gateways available to you in your store. Then save the settings. this allows you to designate which gateway the Payment Gateway manager will allow edits to thru the online manager areas

Next click on the "Payment Gateway". this will take you to the the management screen for PayFlow Link. if you don't see this gateway listed , go back to the main settings and make sure you selected the correct gateway and saved it.

Set "Are you ready to go live?" to yes

Enter your "Payflow Partner ID:". Most likely it's: verisign

Next, enter your "Payflow Login ID:"

Next, enter the "Secure URL to your Payment Gateway's server", which is the PayFlow server URL. Should look like this (but double check with the PayFlow Link user guide downlaodable from Verisign):
https://payments.verisign.com/payflowlink

The next few fields are already filled in for you, but you can edit them as you like.

Select the shipping types you wish to offer by setting them individually to yes or no. This is only for real-time shipping calculations. If using custom shipping logic, you may need to edit the order form directly and add the shippign types you need for your logic. this is covered else where. Help with directly editing you PayFlow order form cs also available in the Pro members forums and areas.

if you wish to enter a message at the top of the order form, you may enter it in the next box.

finally, save the settings and then go to the Verisign site to configure your account there.

VERISIGN PAYFLOW LINK ACCOUNT SETUP:

log into the Versign PayFlow Link control panel: Verisign's PayFlow Link Control Panel Sign in

Click on the "Account Info" link.

then click on the "PayFlow Link info" link.

Set the "Return URL Method" to "Post"

Set the "Return URL" to the location of your store complete with agora.cgi at the end.

In most case now, you do not need to set the "silent post" and/or the "forced silent post" URLs, so do not check those boxes

Next, under "Billing Information" on the "Editable Fields" line, check of these form fields:
Name
Address
City
State
Zip
Country
Phone
Email
CSC is optional

Next, under "Shipping Information" on the "Editable Fields" line, check of these form fields:
Name
Address
City
Country
Phone
Email

For "Required Fields" check these
State & Zip

The rest of the settings you will have to determine personally if you need tehm or desire them, but they are unnecessary for the cart to operate at this point. But leave it set to test mode until your are live. Once you are ready to go live, log back in to the Verisign control panel and set it to a live mode in this same area.

So, now save the Settings and test your store. a test Visa number is 4111 1111 1111 1111 and any valid expiration date.

Final notes on setting up Verisign PayFlow:

1) make sure you setup the transaction security filters. By default they will cause every transaction to be put on hold for review and will never close the shopping process at your website, whcih means you will never know what they ordered. This wzard and filter edit capability is found under the security link in your Verisign control panel.

2) on cart versions 5.0.0 and above, you will need to select the shorter Cart ID option. For cart versions prior to AgoraCart 5.0.0, you will need to implement a short little code edit in order to send teh shorter cart ID numbers (see members forum under the Verisign gateway forum for the fix to version 4.0K+ carts).
